I was in a T61 today (as I have been in quite a few times) and the keyboard cable ripped. Unit won't power on now. Is there any way I can get this to turn on while waiting for a new keyboard to come?

Its so bad that I can't even tape it back together ... not doing a thing.

You need a keyboard connected to power the unit on.

Called lenovo and told them what happened. Its covered by accidental damage protection. So they are overnighting one to me
