14" T61 WS: Structural Flex At Border Above Ultrabay?

Do any T61 users out there notice any flex when pushing down on the border/bezel right above the Ultrabay slot, near the right speaker? The T60 was SOLID here and the T400 seems rather weak.

The end goal is to possibly replace the T400 frame with a T61 frame. As far as I can tell, their basic shapes are identical.

EDIT: Nevermind, I don't see room in the T61 for a third PCI-E slot.

I have a lot of flex there, on my T41p even if that information helps.

Well, at least that means the T400's frame hasn't really degraded then.

Yes, my T61 has flex there too.

Huh, third PCI-e slot on the T400 :?:

I just got my new T61 14'' Wide today and there is flex above the Ultrabay but less than on my T41p. I'm very happy with the build quality so far. It is far superior to the T41, plus a lot lot lighter. Shame Vista Business feels like it's crawling.

My T61p doesn't flex much there. I have been working with Vista Business 64-bit. Although I continue to modify it heavily to adapt to my requirement, it is plenty fast. ... JDH

It's somewhere under the <M> key. I think it's for UWB.
