OCZ Core SSD Hard Drives

#1 Post by LIVE4SPD » Wed Sep 17, 2008 3:35 pm

Has anyone used the OCZ Core SSD Drives in their T61's? OCZ doesn't have a real good history right now, but it's tempting to try that drive. They are pretty cheap now.

Seems like most people are using then in Desktops.

Wait for the Intel drives for real performance.

Any thoughts on where to get one of those intel drives? I don't know if I have the money for it, but I'd like to toss my Core in my T61 and get the intel in my T61p.

After reading the Anandtech article, OCZ core drive does look depressing. Lucky I almost bought myself a 128GB one.
IBM T60 2623A24- 2GHz T7200, 3GB RAM, 128GB Corsair S128, 14" SAMSUNG LCD SXGA+ TFT, 128Mb X1400,
Intel 802.11abg wireless, BT, and Vista Business SP1, 9-Cell Battery
80GB Intel X25-M SSD, 64GB Mtron 3500
