Sound problems - stammering / stumbling with IRQ CPU utiliz.

#1 Post by Aleq » Thu Sep 25, 2008 2:27 pm

Hello All.
I have 2007-FVG T60. I've reinstalled Vista now, upgraded to SP1, installed all updates from System Update and I'm having problem with sound. When the system is busy with IRQ processing (reported by Process Explorer) - for example when new hardware is inserted, sound is distorted for a while. This was not happening to me on older Vista installation (no SP1).

Any ideas what to do? It's annoying.

Thanks for any tips.

It's definitely caused by high interrupt cpu utilization - I don't know what's causing that, but I see it quite often... :-(
