Has anyone else run into issues with their T60P after undocking?

It acts a little crazy when I undock mine and use it somewhere else. Here is what I do:

1. Press the undocking button on the docking station.

2. Wait for the system to tell me it is OK to undock

3. Give it a few moments more just in case

4. The press the number 2 button on my docking station, ejecting the laptop

5. Go to meeting room, start to work and then run into problems

- Cursor will turn into a section of text

- Screen will shimmer

- Screen will freeze

Any ideas?

Does the screen freeze for more than a few seconds? If not, it could be that the wireless is trying (and has problems) to connect to an access point (this assumes that you use an Ethernet cable or are connected to a different access point when docked). This has happened on a few occasions to me. But I've never encountered your other two problems and the wireless wouldn't be responsible for these anyway.

Do you have a card in the dock's PCI-Express slot? Or any other devices plugged into the dock?

So, as a rule of thumb, I never press the undocking button on the dock. I found it does more harm than good. I just yank the thing out of the dock (sometimes putting it in Standby mode before that, or Hibernate if I know I am not going to use it for a while).
