Lenovo System Interface Driver for Windows Vista and XP - ??

Hey I was wondering about that too. Just about to post when I saw this new thread.

it says right in the notes:
Lenovo System Interface Driver works as the programming and data interface which is commonly used for Lenovo drivers, utilities and application programs for Microsoft Windows Vista.
The driver allows the OS better communicate with the drivers which speak to the hardware in the system. I've done clean installs without it but it even shows up on Windows Update now so i just let her rip.

Also, without this driver the onscreen display / hotkey features don´t work in Vista ;)
