I've got a T60 with the latest Fingerprint and CSS software installed from system update. I have it set up to allow the power-on security single sign-on. It works great as long as I don't have a second hard drive connected to the machine.
As soon as put in the SATA ultra bay adapter with a second drive, or connect a hard drive to the system via USB the fingerprint reader will not log me into Windows. It will read my fingerprint at power on and pass through the power on password and hard drive password at the BIOS, but once Windows XP starts up, it just sits at the login screen. I just reloaded my machine from scratch, thinking I had something corrupt in my install, but it is still doing the same thing. I would like to be able to leave my second drive in the ultra bay for backups and file storage, but I really want to be able to do the single sign-on too.
Has anyone run across this, and hopefully found a fix?
TIA
