how to set up and Intel(R) PRO/Wireless by cable...

#1 Post by soyroca » Tue Nov 11, 2008 10:27 pm

I have a T61 with an Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG network device.

and I think I’m missing something. But how can I set-up an standar internet connection by Cable and not by wireless? It seems like the windows xp wizard always tries to search a wireless network first and I haven’t a router yet!

Any hint? :)
thanks a lot

You can disable the wireless card in the Control Panel, and LAN will be your default connection once you've done that.
