T61 Soundmax Audio Driver Keeps uninstalling

I have 2 T-61's were at least once a week, the user turns on her machine, and a message tells her that the SoundMax hasn't loaded and to reinstall it.

When I try to reinstall or repair the software, it tells me the Audio driver files do not support your computer hardware, and to uninstall.

These are the drivers I downloaded from Lenovo they are the ones dates April 25, 2008 7ka114ww.exe.

If anyone has any ideas - Please let me know -

If you have a clean xp install, you need to install MS KB888111 before
audio and modem driver installation.
