T60 internal HSDPA card

Hi!

I have an old T60 (2007F2G).
There is only one Mini-Pci-express socket on the mainboard (with atheros wlan card in it). I found the soldering point of the 2nd mini-pci-express socket on the motherboard.

Will the hsdpa mini-pci-express card works if I solder in the 2nd socket and insert the card into it (and maybe using a modified bios from Zender to accept my card (Novael Eu870D))? Where is the SIM-Card reader (or the place of the sim socket)on the t60?

Or simply find the USB signals on the 2nd mini-pci-express's soldering points and solder on them an USB port connected HSDPA modem (and hide it inside the PCMCIA/Expresscard socket)?

On my x60 I managed to hide the antennas below the palmrest, but on T60 this is not possible. I dont want to disassemble the display. Is there any other space I can hide the WWAN antennas?

Sorry for reviving this thread but I was wondering just the same thing today and this is the only thread I could find about this issue.

My exact question would be: is there anything missing on these system boards beside the connector?

If any one has a detailed scan/picture of the area on a system board with the connector, I could compare with mine to look for other missing components.

Another question is what are the possible uses for the Mini PCI Express slot in a T60, beside WWAN of course, including the ones requiring BIOS modifications.
