I just did a full recovery on my T61. Everything went smooth, I have everything re-installed and all my data back. However, now when my laptop is on and I plug it into my Advanced Mini-Dock, the laptop shuts down. Actually it doesn't go through the shutdown process, it immediately powers off like I held the power button down. Any ideas why this would be happening all of the sudden?
Second, when i am booting up I get this DOS window popping up with some lenova welcome scripts running. Anyone have any idea what this is and how I can disable it? I get a UAC prompt every time as well for Security Client, i'd like to shut that off if possible (without disabling UAC because of problems with Visual Studion 2k8 beta), but i can live with that last item. Thx.
T61 Dock Problem and startup question
Re: T61 Dock Problem and startup question
Not sure why it would happen all of a sudden, but it sounds like the issue described here:ltgrady wrote:I just did a full recovery on my T61. Though, please note that what you describe happened once to my T60p even though I do have the rubber caps mentioned in the link above; i.e., there may be other reasons for this that I am not aware of.
