windows 2003 enterprise edition

#1 Post by sportfreak » Sat Dec 06, 2008 4:33 am

hey people..

i have helped one of my friend here to install windows 2003 ent. edition on his thinkpad t60p..
the thing is that i have forgotten to backup the drivers before i formatted the entire drive which i downloaded before the format..

Now i was wondering if there is a single thinkpad executable file which would help me reload all the drivers and the thinkvantage stuff online..

I have done this a few days ago on my x61 but i could'nt locate a similar one for the thinkpad t60p..

it would be great if you let me know the name for such a file..i really cannot remember what i had done few weeks ago..

any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

The Thinkvantage update manager would, but it won't recognize 2003. You have to download and install all of the drivers one-by-one from the Lenovo site.

Use the XP drivers. They work fine on 2003.

I ran Server 2003 on my W500 for several weeks after I bought it. Everything worked fine.
