I got a T60 which have been sitting for over atleast few months, and now the battery is totally drained and will freeze/hang if plug in into wall outlet with battery attached.
Have anyone attempt to rebuild the battery before? I also check with IBM site and serial # on the battery is not on the warranty list. I want to break it apart, not so about saving $ rather just something am curious about doing, probably cost just as much or more to rebuild it myself.
T60 Battery "irrepairable error message"
The message means that the battery is irreparably dead. Buying a new one, not those so-called OEM/compatible battery on ebay, is the only choice.
