is it Vista? or is it my wireless card

i used to run xp pro since i got my laptop (Service Pack 1) and i've had my T61 a little over a year. this school year, i decided to upgrade to vista ultimate 64 bit because i was tired of all the applications that required SP2 or higher to run. and i figured vista is 64bit, so i might as well.

anywho, i've recently noticed a problem with my wireless card.
When i get onto wifi, i keep getting freezing while playing world of warcraft. it will freeze for a couple of seconds, then resume. but i won't get disconnected completely. i never had this problem in XP.
My friend has the same T61 as me basically, and we were connecting to the same wireless router and he didn't have the issue.

at first i thought it might just be that router or something, but i get the same issue at home as well.

Do you have power save enabled for the card?

hmmm.
when i download something, i don't get disconnected from wifi, but the speeds are very inconsistent.

also, when im on AIM, i sometimes get like 5 messages at once, rather than the appropriate time the messages were sent.

Me. Same problem.
It started two weeks ago when I "upgraded" to driver version 7.4.2.134.
I rolled back to driver 5.3.0.85 and the problem went away.

I have been experiencing this during WoW as well on my T60. I thought it was my anti-virus or something updating and killing my bandwidth for a second or so.

A few times I have been kicked from the server. It's not very time I play and it really doesn't bug me all that much, but I would still like a solution.
