My resolution is low on my T61

Hi, I have a T61 that I bought a few months ago in July. It has the Mobile Intel GMA X3100 graphics adapter with 384MB shared memory. The chipset is the Mobile 965 Express chipset family.

My resolution only goes up to 1280x800. Is this the limit for my chipset/graphics adapter?

I have the latest drivers. I have linux on a dual partition and even the highest resolution that it shows is 1280x800.
