Help needed building a T6x for Ultamate Battery life

I would like to sell all of my T4x stuff and build a T6x. My T43 is already way more powerful then I need so I would like to focus on battery life. I already have a SXGA+ screen and would like to stay with that resolution, but would consider an XGA. What is possible in terms of battery life? I would like to start with a 14" base. Should I get a T60 or a T61. I already have a pile of XP COAs so a vista COA could be helpful in the future.

I'd start with an Intel gpu. Not sure if T60 or T61 would be better batterywise, I'd lean towards T61.

SXGA uses around 1-2w extra (ie 10% or more difference), so it depends on how much you want it. If you go XGA, you may as well get an X series instead of a T6x.

Does the battery in an X60's last longer then the one in a t60?

Nope.

When configured with XGA and the Intel GMA, the T60 with 6-cell/9-cell has better battery life than the X60/X61 with 4-cell/8-cell, respectively.

Lenovo's Ltwbook also claims that the T60 has marginally better battery life than a T61 given same battery size and base config (i.e. XGA/GMA).

Here are the data from the Ltwbook, for GMA graphics. They are somewhat exaggerated, but should at least be consistent relative to the models.

T60 6-cell/9-cell/9-cell+Ultrabay: 6hr/9hr/11.5hr
T61 6-cell/9-cell/9-cell+Ultrabay: 5.7hr/8.6hr/10.1hr
T61 14W 4-cell/6-cell/6-cell+Ultrabay: 3.6hr/5.7hr/7.2hr
X60/X61 4-cell/8-cell/8-cell+Ultrabay: 3.9hr/7.8hr/10.7hr
