Warranty question regarding PC Card Clot/Express Card Slot

Hi, I have a T61 that I bought new from them roughly 8 months ago, and I have the one year warranty. Before the warranty is up, I'd like to send it in for repairs on things that I don't like so much on it. Unfortunately, (rather.... fortunately...) not much has gone wrong in the 8 months. The one thing that's semi-major to me is with the PC Card slot. I use it a lot to add 4 USB ports. The eject buttons no longer work. Even on my brother's T40, when I put the card in, I can use the eject buttons to pop the card out. On mine, the eject buttons do nothing. It clicks funny and doesn't work at all. I have to physically yank out the card. I know it's not a HUGE deal, it just really bothers me that SOMETHING on my laptop which is still relatively new doesn't work as it should. I also use the 4-pin firewire port on the front a lot, and now it's really loose. My firewire cable used to kind of "snap" in, and it felt locked.... now it just slides in, and has the tendency to slide out just as easily. Finally, I have plenty of "mushy" areas as I read about all over this forum, and the plastic rectangle of plastic around the volume, thinkvantage, and power buttons is warped and kind of bubbling upwards.

Again, none of these issues are severe, but like I said, bothers me that they aren't as they should be. Is this "enough stuff" to be accepted for warranty repairs?

I don't think there's an "enough stuff" count for warranty repairs. All of the items that you've mentioned sound like they'd qualify for warranty repair. Send it in.
