Has anyone gotten raid 0 or (preferably) raid 1 to work with a T61(p), under Win XP and two eSATA HDs (either using a PCMCIA card, an ExpressCard, or a PCIe card in the Advanced Dock)? If so, how did you do it?

Have you ever actually tried this (without the VM part)? I had an idea to setup a software RAID under Linux with second HD in the ultrabay, but that would be most probably far from the performance of some eSata RAID connected through firewire or one of those RAID cards... BTW, there is a hack to make XP handle both HDs as desktop HDs (not laptop HDs (!) ) in order to convert them to dynamic disks. I haven´t found such a hack for Vista yet...
