Bluetooth speed and drivers

Hello,

I use my cellphone to connect to my ISP 3G network. I can connect the phone to pc via bluetooth or cable. The network have speed up to 3.5mbps; While using XP I can get Bluetooth PAN speed between cellphone and thinkpad up to 2.1mbps; and that's ok. In vista I can only get 1mbps, so efective speed is up to 120KB/s in Vista (with average of 80KB/s) and up to 240KB/s in XP with average of 190KB/s

Using the usb cable, the network between cellphone <-> laptop is 10mbps and this is a better solution. But my Samsung blackjack II doesn't charge by usb. It charges, 3G drain faster than the charge rate, so after 2 hours my cell is discharged. I can charge it while connected by bluetooth and also reach better battery times.

I use lenovo's default drivers. My thinkpad is a T60p (see signature) and my bluetooth chipset is bcm2045b
The bluetooth stack in XP is the one from Lenovo; the bluetooth stack in vista is different and appear to be the one from microsoft.

While I had my T42 there was a trick to use the lenovo stack in xp renaming bth.cnf and btn.pnf; however this doesn't work in vista x64 which I'm using.

Does somebody knows some workaround regarding to this?

I would like better speed.

I downloaded BlueSoleil stack evaluation and get 3mbps link between the phone and thinkpad. So it's a matter of stack.

Which is the speed of the official stack?
