I think my factory battery is on it's last legs. I doubt that I even get an hour of useable life from it anymore.
Just looking for suggestions on a good replacement battery and the best places to shop.
Thanks!

Out of curiosity, how badly are "scratch and dent" items scratched and dented? Is there any way to determine before buying?
For instance, what's the difference between these two batteries apart from the price?
$57.32

$76.62

There is no way to examine or get (physical condition) information on the items before buying, I can only tell you my recent experience. I bought a battery for my X61s, and it arrived in a sealed Lenovo box, that had a slight dent in one corner of the cardboard box. Inside was a brand new battery, perfect in every way. YMMV. If you can't figure out which battery fits your machine, by all means call the outlet and ask.

Sounds good, thanks for the tip.

Those are completely different batteries. The extended life battery fits on the bottom of the X60 series and uses the ultrabase connector. You should be able to use both of those simultaneously.

OK, that makes sense. I had thought they were the same battery and the price differential was because one was more scratched and dented than the other. Thank you for the explanation.
