i bought a t60 off ebay.
when i tried to start the security client program so i can set up finger print reader password manager it says secuirty chip active type in password how do i find password? is there a stock one they all start with? will IBM help me? i'm i just out of luck?

You can boot into the bios. Under security, there is an option to erase fingerprint data.
