I just got a T60p (2007-WUK)
It supposedly come with bluetooth
On the lid there is a bluetooth symbol, right next to wireless

However, when I do Fn -> F5, I only see wireless radio

If I goto Device Manager, I can't seem to find it

In Network Connection, I only see 2 connections: Local Area and Wireless Network

Did the previous owner swap out the bluetooth card? or maybe it's there but disabled/malfunction?

Help!

Just a thought: you may need to install drivers/firmware from Lenovo website to make BT run... What OS was the T60p shipped with?

Never mind...
Brain fart on my part

1) yes, bluetooth software was not installed. DOH. I ran ThinkVantage System Update, and it didn't do it. After installation, STILL no bluetooth device
2) I checked BIOS, and bluetooth device was set to HIDDEN. DOH!!! Why would anyone want to do that?

Now Fn F5 show bluetooth device
Device Manager show bluetooth device as well

Thanks for the tips!

PS: OS is WinXP
