how to clean the outer cover of the lcd on your Thinkpad?

Just wondering what everyone uses to clean the back of the LCD where we tend to hold the laptop. Fingerprints and smudges always show up...eventually.

How do you clean that matte coating outside to remove marks or finger prints?

I have used a damp cloth, but that does not remove all the smudges or fingerprints. I would like for the entire cover to be the same color, the outer parts are smudged while the middle is like new

I remember back in the IBM days that persons were able to get a safe cleaning solution I think either from IBM or a thirdparty seller.

and it restored the nice clean matte finish after using it.
