For playing up-to-date games, I would recommend that you forget forever the idea of playing them on your T60, and either invest in a normal desktop, or buy a modern laptop with a powerful graphics card (T500 with HD3650 and above).
If you don't limit yourself to Thinkpads, your options are suddenly expanded greatly, and you can get very powerful gaming notebooks for cheap.
No card that would fit into the dock slot would be any good for modern games, and even if you were to stick something powerful in it, don't forget that it's actually a PCI-E 1x slot, which would cripple the performance of high-end cards.
