Where to find NEW t61p?

Wondering if anybody knows of a good reliable source for a new T61P? Preferably from a Canadian dealer?

yup, I've been looking on ebay over the past few weeks at the ones listed as new. Only concern I have is warranty, I'd prefer to buy one from a reputable lenovo dealer. If ebay is my only choice I will figure out the warranty situation with lenovo. But I was wondering anybody knew of a canadian lenovo dealer that had older models in stock.

if buying on ebay, ask the seller for the exact MTM/SN of the unit you will be receiving.   if they won't provide it then don't buy from them.   use this page to verify warranty status.   if warranty is valid then you're good to go.

just beware of refurb/open box units being touted as being "new and sealed."   if extra memory is included that doesn't show up in a parts lookup then you'll know the box has been opened.

I did precisely what erik just advised, and used that method to evaluate a new old stock T60p on ebay recently, still in warranty. I now own it and couldn't be more pleased with it!
