65W vs. 90W Adapter with an ATI X1400 T60

I wonder if using a 65W adapter with my T60(X1400 graphics) has any effects on the machine at all? for all that i know is that it charges slower with the 65W adapter, or does it have any effects on performance while connected that im not aware of?
