Simultaneous network connections

I need to use both my wireless and wired connections at the same time but access connections does not seem to allow me to do so. I would like to use the wireless to connect to the internet. The wired port is used to a local network test environment. Note that I am not routing between the two.

My wireless is 192.168.100.x while my test network is 10.0.11.x. I've defiantly done something similar in the past with two network cards in a desktop machine but can't seem to figure it out on my TP.

When I plug in my cable, AC turns off the radio. If I enable the radio and reconnect, my ip address on the wired connection goes to 0.0.0.0.

Anyone know how to implement this?

My details:
TP T61
Windows XP sp3

Thanks,
-Eric

Apparently you can not have more then one network adapter using DHCP. I gave my wired connection a static IP and know I can access the internet via wireless and test network via wired.
