Can a 14.1" WXGA+ CCFL be converted to an LED panel?

I have a T61 w/the 14.1" WXGA+ CCFL and would really like to get a brighter LED panel/backlight.
Is there a way to convert a 14.1" WXGA+ CCFL to an 14.1" WXGA+ LED panel?
If so, could you get me started with a few pointers/links to how to get this mod done?

I doubt that the actual "panel-to-panel" conversion is possible, since I'm fairly certain that the panels themselves are different. Where you'd locate the appropriate LED backlighting is another question.
You may try using a panel from the T400 in your T61, but there's no guarantee that it will work, or that it's safe to begin with. And it will not be an inexpensive venture...

Moniserv offers an LED converter strip kit in that size. I have not done that conversion, but I'd like to see it done
