Hi,

I'm looking at upgrading my WiFi and WWAN card in my T61 to the following Lenovo parts.

- Intel WiFi Link 5300 - 43Y6459

- Ericsson F3507g Other - Wireless WAN card - 43Y6479

Will these work or will they still throw 1802 BIOS errors since they aren't specifically designed for the T61?

You've got it in one.

They are not on the BIOS whitelist for a T61.

I better contact Zender then.

I just got a quote back for the Lenovo parts which doesn't really matter now anyway since they wont work in my T61.

But out of interest here are some prices in $AUD and an ebay comparison.

- Intel WiFi Link 5300 - 43Y6459 - Now superseded to FRU 43Y6495 - $284
- Ebay ~$60

- Ericsson F3507g Other - Wireless WAN card - 43Y6479 - Now superseded to FRU 43Y6513 - $220
- Ebay ~$220
