T60 Fails to switch to external monitor on Fn-F7

It's been working all this time, and now that I returned home, the T60 fails to switch over to the external monitor even if I press Fn-F7. The T60's LCD also flickers now every 27 seconds. The monitor still works since it displays the "no signal" message when I unplug it from the T60. Thanks in advance for any help! - Barna

I have had this happen to me, and the problem was that Presentation Director was not started (because I had turned it off). So what I did, was start it manually, and then the fn+f7 worked fine. I am no expert, but this worked for me. Cheers.
