T6x Advanced Mini Dock and Essential Port Replicator

Anybody know how to get the T6x Advanced Mini Dock (2504) to work without the keys? From what I can see, the computer can only be installed or removed from the dock when the keys are in and turned to "unlock". But the keys can only be reoved in the "locked" position. So it appears that the dock cannot be used without the keys.
I take it, like previous versions, the Essential Port Replicator (2505) doesn't have keys(?)

Sure, it does.
As the matter of fact, the key can be removed in both "Lock" and "Unlock" modes.

On my advanced mini dock the keys can only be removed when the dock is locked.

Tseng: Just to be clear, this is the Advanced Mini Dock for the T6x series. I haven't found a way to get the key out when it's unlocked. Don't know if it's any different for other series docks. If I recall correctly the T4x dock II and mini Dock II were the same (?)

On all the Advanced Docks and Advanced Mini Docks I've used (altogether 6 or so ), the key could not be removed when in the unlocked position.
However, I've seen quite a few sale adds that claim that the key was missing but the dock still in the unlocked position. Maybe there is a way to get from the locked to the unlocked position without needing the actual key.

Yes, I just tested it again on my T61p + Advanced Mini Dock.
The key can be removed in both positions.
My Advanced Mini Dock is bought in Taiwan with P/N 39T4599.
Locked with key removed:

Well, pictures don't lie, but there's no way I can get my key out in the unlocked position. So it's either a slightly different lock in the models destined for Taiwan or you may have just manhandled it into coming out when it's unlocked...........

Please give me hints how I can remove the key when my advanced mini dock is unlocked.
