Hi,
I've got my new AFFS screen installed on my T60p, but I found that if I look at the screen from the upper left or upper right position, the color becomes significantly different from that of viewing from the front of the screen. I took a few pictures for your reference.
Does anyone of you meet such problem? Is this the defect of the LCD? And could this problem be solved by doing some adjustment or fine tuning to the LCD?
Sorry for my poor expression in English, I hope you could understand what I mean.
Thank you :D

This is my background in dark color, viewing from the front of the LCD

Viewing from the upper left

Viewing from the upper right, even worse

Hi,
Wow that was quick - you found an LCD locally? Heh, either that or it must have arrived using some kind of jet.

Yes i have seen that thing too with the HV150UX1 - your display looks as it is supposed to. The really stupid thing about it all is that it doesn't violate the 89 degrees viewing angles in U/D, L/R directions. Viewing angles are never measured by the diagonals, despite the fact that this would be a very useable measure too.
The effect you see should also be worsened by the fact the image has low intensity shades.

The only thing that could solve this would be some other kind of polarizer sheets inside the LCD panel. The the question is if this is worth it or not, and most importantly where to get these. :(

I was bothered by this "issue" along with dust specs inside the LCD, so i went back to an idtech panel. I have never heard/read anybody else complain about this so i thought it was just me being too critical and just asking too much....

The LCD assembly arrived the day next to the day I placed the order, it's a next day delivery, haha, shipped via air mail, and the shipping is really low here within china, approx. $4? I think
I've compared the effect with that of other T60ps which use the same screen, but this phenomenon doesn't happen on the other machines
Here are some pics taken by another member, it looks more better under the same background. The color won't become so "yellow" when viewing from such angles
