reinstall assistance kindly requested

Dear fellow members,

Hope you are doing well.
I have a T60P and do want to do a complete reinstall of all software as my data and I guess software have been corrupted. My problem is that I am a computer illiterate. I am searching for a guide to help me go to all the necessary steps to do a new set up from scratch and deinstalling current data and softwa

Can anyone point me in the right direction. I have looked into the FAQ's but since the terminology used is jibberish to me this does not help a lot.

I really am looking for the forum experts to help me out and create a stable set-up that I can back up if I screw up again....

Where are you located? And, do you have the original CDs? Or, an XP Pro CD that came with another computer?

I ask where you are located, because I could likey take care of rebuilding it for you.
