About three weeks ago, I started having a serious problem: after undocking my T60, my keyboard and trackpoint stop responding. Almost. ctrl-alt-delete has no effect -- but fn-f4 will still put the machine to sleep.
After putting the machine to sleep, then holding down the fn key to wake it up, sometimes the keyboard will work.
Sometimes, it doesn't. Then I have to put the machine to sleep and wake it up again, and repeat the process several times until the keyboard begins responding.
Often, even when the keyboard responds, the trackpoint and touchpad are unresponsive. I then have to suspend and wake over and over until they become responsive.
I think I have all the latest drivers & bios updates. What else am I missing?
Please help!
After undock, keyboard and trackpoint don't work
Re: After undock, keyboard and trackpoint don't work
I had a very similar problem with T60, keyboard and/or trackpoint often didn't work after I start the computer or wake it up (I don't have a docking station). I always used a USB mouse to put it to sleep.
I couldn't solve it for a long time, but yesterday I reinstalled WinXP SP3, added the newest drivers and it works fine now. I tested many times and the problem never happened again.

Glad to hear there's a solution! How did you reinstall SP3?
Re: After undock, keyboard and trackpoint don't work
I just formatted my hard disk and installed XP using a CD with integrated SP3 and SATA drivers.
I guess you can use the hidden partition instead, can't you? I don't have it, because I replaced the original HD with a bigger one.
I know it's not a perfect solution because you need to erase all data, but it happened to solve the problem.
