unknown device for t60,when upgrading to vista ultimate 64-b

I recently upgraded my t60 to Vista ,everything else runs fine.
Just one unknown device, the device instance path shows "ROOT\LEGACY_BITS\0000"
anyone knows?
as i known, TPM and sata driver were installed ,sound and modem are working.

Where in Device Manager does this unknown device show up? Is any of your hardware not identified/not working?

The only driver missing when installing Vista on my R60 was the power management driver.

thanks guys.
I tried all the hardware I can,all fine.Also the power mgmt is fine.
the unknown device shows between network adapter and PCMIA Adapter.

That's because it's listed as an other device, O being between N and P.
If you saved a copy of the SWTools folder you can have Vista search it for the driver. Sometimes XP drivers will work in Vista. Have you tried Windows Update? Sometimes that works as well.

The first thing to do is to uninstall through device manager and reboot.

It's Gone!
After I uninstall it and restart system to scan hardware change.
Don't know why,but thanks for your suggestion.
