What SSD to T61?

I have a T61 (6460-EBG) and I use it "on-the-go" a lot, and I'm experiencing issues with HDD every now and then because my T61 isn't "sitting still". So to the logical question: What SSD can I put in it? Is the lenovo-branded only option or can I put some other brands in it?

You can upgrade your mechanical(regular) HDD with any brand HDD you want, I am not sure if there is any issues with doing this with an SSD HDD but there really shouldn't. Also, lenovo does not make their own SSD HDD for resale, so you wouldn't be able to get one from lenovo anyway.

Making the assumption that you're not a professional cowboy trying to use the T61 on a bucking bronco:
I certainly don't expect problems using a laptop that isn't perfectly still. Within reason, this shouldn't be an issue. Have you tried dialing down the sensitivity in the Active Protection application?
