Just got my first ThinkPad - a T60, and I find I am frequently hitting the Fn key when I want to hit the left Ctrl key. Any way to remap those keys?

My understanding is that the Fn key is basically "hard-wired" into the system's BIOS and that any software keyboard remapping program can't totally control (swap) the Fn key with any other standard key. It's about the same thing I run into when confronted with Type 5 or Type 6 Sun keyboards; the CTRL and Caps Lock keys are swapped around and the Backspace key also moves location

I also think it's a matter of getting used to.
I never owned any other notebook before my first ThinkPad and for me, the ThinkPad-way seems natural. It's easier to turn on the ThinkLight when it's dark too
