Like I said in my previous post, I have a T60 project machine coming. I would like to know if there is any place to cross reference FRUs? Many parts numbers will work in different machines but each has it's own distinct FRU. how is the best way to determine whether different FRUs are functional the same?

I am sure I will have more questions, so bear with me.

Unless it is documented in a wiki or on a forum like this one, there is no official FRU cross referencer list. So if you can't find an answer for a specific FRU, ask here.

I thought that was probably the case. Thanks for the help. I'm sure I will have more questions.
