T400 w/ Dock cant do 1600x900 out

The T400 w/ port replicator cant do 1600x900 out? I got my mom a new samsung 19" monitor and that is the unusual resolution of it.
WTF is with this unusual aspect ratio?

I had the same setup. Set the switchable graphics to Discrete. If you don't have switchable graphiics but only the integrated Intel GPU, then say three hail Mary's and go buy a new LCD. Even a Voodoo stick won't cut through that nightmare. Been there, done that.

You might be able to run PowerStrip and get it to run that resolution...

I tried that too. In fact I even went Lenovo BIOS engineering but haven't gotten an answer yet.

Thanks for the input guys. Its my mom's corporate laptop and its just the integrated card due to the fact that its mainly MS Office programs that are run. New monitor is not an option at this point but my mom doesnt notice the fact that its not native resolution, just trying to make it better for her.
