trackpoint gets stuck in a corner

Hi,
I notice occasionally (typically when my t60 wakes up from a screen saver), my trackpoint cursor gets stuck in the corner. It kind of shakes as I touch the trackpoint but it refuses to move out of the top right corner. The problem gets resolved if I use the keyboard and go to standby mode and then come out of it.

Has anybody else seen this kind of problem ?
