Hello,

i've installed win7 on my T61p and it really works like a charm BUT,
there is still one device that is not recognized by the OS.

It's a PCI Memory Controller.
Well if i would know who the maufacturer is i could search the web for a suitable 64bit driver, or maybe find the right Lenovo/IBM software package.
If any owner of a T61p could post some details about that device i'd be thankful and could - hopefully - find the right x64 Win/Vista driver.

In Device Manager, does it say PCI Memory Controller or just PCI device? Make sure you have Intel Matrix Storage Manager properly installed. I would get the package from Intel's website, not Lenovo's.

Run it in Vista 64bit compatibility mode and you will be able to get it installed. Had been doing the same in my X61T running Windows 7-64bit.

The hint regarding turbomemory solved that issue.

I am facing the same thing. I am wondering if this is the latest & greatest driver for this?
