iuimagex & winload.exe error during T60 restore?

#1 Post by kdaniel6217 » Thu Aug 06, 2009 6:21 pm

Hey guys. So I have a T60 type 1952 and im trying to restore it back to factory state using the vista restore disks. but during the middle of installation, during the CE00AUS.SWM installation, i get a error box with a title: "iuimagex". There is a red X. If i press ok, the installation continues but then after the 1st reboot, I get a boot manager error like this:
File \windows\system32\winload.exe
Status 0xc000000f

From here, Im stuck. ive tried reinstalling it over 10 times but always end up here with Winlaod error.

help me!

I don't know much about restoring ThinkPads (my came used with no hidden partition) but this kind of error looks like a corrupted restore partition or even a bad harddrive.
