Software for function keys (FN+...)

Hello,

what software enables the function keys?
I mean those keys that you activate via FN key.

Reason behind all that is, i want to disable the touchpad and only use that nipple on my keyboard.
The corresponding keys would be "FN+F7" but without software ....no function...

My plan is NOT to install all software packages available for my T61p but rather only the ones i really need.

Thanks in advance,
best regards

Masl

Disable the touchpad in BIOS.

I don't have a T61, but I can disable the TouchPad in my T42 with the UltraNav driver installed. Check Control Panel > Mouse > UltraNav tab for options. The BIOS is another place to disable the TouchPad as Harryc mentioned.

I believe you only need the hotkey driver.
