Problem with Installing Wireless Connection

I have a T60 laptop, model 2613-HKU with the Intel PRO/Wireless 3956ABG. Recently I just reinstalled Windows XP. After the OS installation, I could not get my wireless connection to work. I believe I had installed all the required drivers:

1.) Power Manager

2.) ACPI Power Management

3.) Hotkey Utility

4.) Intel PRO/Wireless LAN 3945ABG

5.) Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Mini-PCI Adapter

6.) Thinkvantage Access Connection Utility

(I even tried install Thinkpad 802.11 Mini-PCI Adapter and 802.11 Mini-PCI Express Adapter, still they didn't make any difference. So I tried install ALL THE DRIVERS listed on Lenovo's Website:

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... 62928.html

Still nothing worked.)

I tried toggled Func Key + F5 to see if anything changed. Only the bluetooth light turned ON/OFF, not the wireless light.

I wonder if there is any additional drivers/files I should install or any setting that needs to be changed to make the wireless connection works? Thank you very, very much ahead for any help. I really appreciate it.

Can you see a Wireless LAN Adapter in 'Device Manager->Network adapters'? You may also check BIOS and see if you accidentally switched off wireless.

I tried check my BIOS setting. All the options listed under "Network" were enabled.

Under "Device Manager", I saw a list of uninstalled devices, despite me already installed all those drivers listed in Lenovo's website:
-Biometric Coprocessor
-Ethernet Controller
-Network Controller
-PCI Device
-SM BUS Controller
-Unknown Device
-Video Controller (VGA Compatible)

So I think in this case my issue would be likely to caused by the system not recognizing the drivers? Any help or suggestion would be really appreciated.

I'd walk through the whole BIOS. I think you can disable wireless in a section name I/O or some such.

I have figured out. I did not know that the drivers from the Lenovo website is basically a file extractor, not an installer. So I just went to the driver folders and install them. Such an extremely silly mistake. Thank you for the reply though. :)
