LCD & Graphics Settings Wierdness

Aloha! Since this slipped away from my original question, i decided make separate inquiry.
Two issues:
1. In Dev Mgr under Hidden devices > Other devices, i see this with a question mark: LTN141XA-L01 and checking details in properties it is listed as: "DISPLAY\LEN4020\4&DC91A8B&0&80861500&00&02" . It appears to reference the LCD. Does the fact that i have a 4:3 XGA screen cause this to be there? When i try and update driver and direct it to latest monitor .inf (driver) it doesn't get rid of it. Perhaps an older driver would get rid of it?
2. I find i am unable to disable the intel graphics hotkeys option. When i right click the desktop and goto Graphics Options and then Hot Keys "enable" is greyed out and clicking "disable" does nothing. I also tried in the regular properties sheet. When i uncheck the Enable Hot keys box it just ignores and rechecks it...even before a reboot? Is this normal? Driver version is listed as 6.14.10.5043 dated 3/9/2009. Graphics are integrated. Is the Fn - Home/End key combo part of these hot keys? I find this useful for controlling screen brightness and would like to keep it.
Thanks for any help!
