T60p warranty expired 2 weeks ago (DOH!). Just wondering if anybody has any experience with the post warranty maintenance set up. The laptop is in England (I'm in Peru), and my brother has been dealing with it (needs fan replacement too).
Just wondering anyone thoughts or adventures with this option and if it's available internationally and not just the US.

Usually, you need to extend the warranty before the original warranty expires, but do a search on this forum and see if anything else comes up.

I have checked, but there doesn't seem to be any actual evidence of a completed transaction.

"If your machine is
out of warranty, OR you have an existing warranty service upgrade (WSU) or maintenance agreement that is about to expire, then post-warranty maintenance (MA ThinkPlus and Lenovo Care Services) is right for you. "

For anyone interested, I called lenovo and I was told that I had to apply for service pack 10N3144 to renew an out of warranty CT0 t60p.
It's a 1 year warranty on site repair - no mention of covering accidental damages. (Although it originally came with a three year limited warranty, entitled to mail-in or carry-in repair.)
The cost of pack 10N3144 is £81 (credit card only).
I'll post another update when I receive the package and other info.
