Hi all,

I was browsing forum seeking for any tips how to improve memory performance in our machines... with no success
The point is that for my t61p with 4GB RAM the scores are quite low comparing to others.... the scores of graphic card and HDD are pretty good, the only downside is RAM :/
I have 2x 2GB Corsair modules 800MHz working at 667MHz (dual channel) with 1GB Turbocache, so no idea why performance is such not impressive...
Do you have any tips like size of swap file (actually 4GB in my machine) etc etc.. ? All drivers are up to date.
Any ideas welcome

Wouldn't it make more sense to actually post your score/s and to list the tool and version used to produce them? That way others can post their scores and you can see if your's differs from other T61P's.

My T60 scores 438.8 for the memory test. My RAM is 1 1GB stick and 1 2GB stick, so no dual channel love for me.

EDIT: Under AC power, full speed the RAM score jumped up 5 points. Woohoo!

Funny huh? I never really notice a difference when it is set to balanced versus high performance.
