I have created a USB flash drive with Ubuntu using Live CD, but when i try to load Ubuntu via USB nothing works, windows vista starts, i checked the boot sequence and found the order to be USB FDD, USB FD , CD and the hard drive, then why ubuntu is not loading via USB. any help on this greatly appreciated.

I am able to work in Ubuntu using the Live CD. I want to work in Ubuntu using USD Flash Drive(4gb). What needs to be done?
Do i need to do any changes in BIOS or is it something that needs to be done in USB?

Hold down F12 just after you power on your laptop. It should present you with a list of devices to boot from. Then if you flash drive is listed, select and boot from it. If the boot fails, I would wipe the flash drive and try again.

If that still doesn't work try using Unetbootin to set-up your USB. Just did it with crunchbang last night and it worked like a charm.

Try using "USB HD" or "USB HDD". My T60 boots from my 8GB Flash Drive without problem.

Check the BIOS under "conf.ig/USB". If you have not enabled USB support in the BIOS, it cannot boot from a USB drive
