T60p 1802 error.

#1 Post by Reo51St » Mon Oct 12, 2009 3:04 pm

Just finish with the Sierra driver problem now a new one.

My wireless network card was seen in device manager and I have been trying to get the right driver for it.

Now I turned the laptop on and I get the 1802 error.

This card is original 3945 Fru#41W1027.

I did notice in the manual that it does not have this FRU# for the T60p 2623-DDU.

Why would it all of the sudden become a conflict???

Any ideas help.

Thanks all.

Try using another card, yours might have gone bad.

If that's not the case, the motherboard is going haywire.

Good luck.

Used another card and 1802 error went away!

But it still will not work.

?Network Controller shows in device manager.

Run Intel setup and ?Network Controller goes away but it does not show up in Network Adapters???

Intel(R) PRO/1000 PL Network Connection
Sierra Wireless 1xEV-DO Network Adapter

That is the only 2 things in Network Adapters.

Fn+F5 shows Bluetooth and Wireless WAN only.

Reboot system and it starts all over again.

Any ideas.

Thanks all.

After downloading the driver, have you unpacked it from C>Drivers>Win>Wlanint?

Yes this is when ?Network Controller in device manager goes away but does not show anything added in network devices.

I can not figure this out.

In the lower right hand corner I get the wireless icon with the chevron symbol.

I am just about ready to give up and put a PCMCIA card in and say done.

But the engineer in me will not let it go until I find out why!!!

This is what I live for.

Thanks agian.
