Hi
I have a thinkpad T60. Its battery LED is Orange, steadily blinking since last 2 weeks. The date of my laptop is stuck to October 14th and time also keeps ticking between 1PM and 4PM. Earlier, as I used to unplug the AC power my laptop used to turn off immediately.
I then, suspecting some problem with my battery, changed the battery with a spare one I had. Still the battery LED is orange, steadily blinking and the date and time are stuck. Now on unplugging the AC power my laptop goes to battery backup, but when I plug the AC power back, it runs directly on AC power and battery is not recharging.
The Power Options icon in the task bar shows "On AC Power", and the Power Meter shows only 93% battery remaining.
Please suggest what could be the problem.
Thanks
Anshu
